First Lines Friday #6

Here we go again!

Friday 8/28: She hoped the Sainte Trinite hadn’t undergone any changes

Saturday 8/29: The door chimed when she went in, and the man at the counter smiled.

Sunday 8/30: “Slight oversight, huh?”

Monday 8/31: (I spent my son’s final day of freedom before his first day of Kindergarten hanging with Grammy and Cousin and Sissy, playing mini golf and hanging out at the playground.)

Tuesday 9/1: “Oh.”

Wednesday 9/2: She managed to hold the laugh back – until he said, in French, “dirty, rotten, slug-eating cockroach.”

Thursday 9/3: His clothes were ratty, and he smelled – and looked – like a dumpster.
